 Throwing up blood?
This morning Milo threw up three times and each time it was bright red blood. I rushed him to the emergency vet and they have taken xrays, but see nothing but gas and "something granular" in his stomach. He has energy and seems like his usual self and has not vomited again since he's been at the vet. The vet seems as perplexed as I do. They want to give him fluids and continue to watch for vomiting but don't have any other clues as to what might be happening. Nothing has changed in his diet, and as far as I know, he hasn't gotten into anything.
Has anyone here had anything like this happen? Sometimes the advice I get on this forum is better than the answers I get from the vet. |
