Don't be scared .... It is better to let the vet do bloodwork to find out exactly what is going on. 8lbs is good size for A yorkie too. AND it's my understanding that liver shunts are more common in the tiny Yorkie. My first thought was something like LP . Which is anther common health issue in A Yorkie. Since he had alreay a concern with his legs before... Maybe it is his knees ? Just a guess.
