I can't help you with the Breeder in Question.
But I do feel that you would be better off finding a Breeder close to your home.
I'm sure a lot of puppies have been shipped to their new homes, and did just fine. But it's a lot of stress on them. You said you fell in love with one of the puppies, I have to tell you, once I take a look at their picture, I fall for all of them.
