I would also go with Orijen.
Grain can be an allergen.. you need to give it a good 30 days before you say for sure that the grain is out of his system... you might also try adding omegas and vit E to his diet for the dry flakey skin. Hope the change helps- i hate when our little guys itch!
Also- try to stay away from chicken- it can be an allergen... Layla is SO allergic to chicken.. even if a treat has it in it she is affected.
