Researching the breeder is much more important than finding the perfect dog. good breeders do not sell sick dogs. good breeders stnd behind their dogs |
Hi jeanie,
just to note that I don't think Holly came with Parvo from the breeder, she must have contracted it while with the parents of lillys mommy's hubby. She was with them for 1 week prior hanging with their dog before coming to lillys mommy and then got Parvo a week later. So it must have started sometime between the transition of home as the virus takes can sit dormant for up to 10 days.
I am not sure about the breeder but according to lillys mommy she was a good person with good intentions. Lilly was a product of a pet store as her mommy stated above, it was just a sad situation and the pet store did nothing to compensate for it that I know of.
