They say that a dog's noses smells so much differently than humans. When there is a pot of beef stew cooking we smell the beef stew or the blend of ingredients. Dogs on the other hand, smell each individual ingredient. So that's why the poop doesn't smell bad to them, they smell undigested protein, and that smells good. The pineapple contains enzymes that help digest the protein, so that the poop no longer smells appetizing or nutritious.
