You are right, my apologies. There are some extremists that are PETA members that address issues in a really radical fashion, but I realize that is not the case for every single member--the same could be said for just about any organization out there. So to phrase my sentiments in a manner that lumped ALL PETA members/supporters together as radicals was unfair. I am sorry for having done such.
That being said, if I was the target for some of the antics I have read about, it would be a different story and at that point I wouldn't care who was a member of what organization and who wasn't. But I realize that is probably not the way the majority of people conduct themselves. As the saying goes, a few bad apples...
