Im taking my 4.5 months old puppy to his first grooming tomorrow. Anything I need to do before or afterwards to prevent too much trauma on him or will he enjoy this experience?

Anything I should tell the groomer? I like the hair as short as possible, including the face. I see a lot of Summer Cuts or "Puppy Cuts" where the body is shaved very short but the legs and face are left long haired. Does anyone actually cut everything short? Pictures?
