If it helps, I crate train all my dogs. Roxy is 9 mts now and still has accidents in the house if I forget to take her out. She's up to 2 hrs or so, but if I forget she will and pee on the floor or poo. But, I have an older dog also and she will have an accident sometimes too. I think re-training is just part of all dogs on occation. I crate them a little more when there are a few in-house clean up's. I don't give them run of the house, ever! If they are running the house I'm right there with them. I call this
"Potty Training Mom"
