welcome. How long are you keeping him confined at a time? At his age, about 2 hours is the longest he should be crated. I really am not a crate person, I prefer the xpens. If you're not taking him outside to potty and using pee pads, then that won't confuse him, when you take him out, get him to the pee pad and don't let him off until he potties. If he pees on the floor, you can always wipe it up with a pp towel, then put the pee on his pad, that way he can smell the scent. My first yorkie was almost 7 weeks, I used the xpen for her, she had the pee pad down in about 2-3 weeks. good luck |
