I rent my 7yo out to the neighbors for cheap labor all the time. Make her earn her keep. I wouldn't have had a child if I didn't think that I could break even somehow. At 1.00/hr for raking leaves and shoveling snow, I figure she'll have paid off her debt to me sometime around the year 2053. I tried to explain to her that if she would simply stop eating
every day and limit her showers to once per week, she could significantly cut down on the expenses I was owed, but then she changed the subject to address the hourly rental fee for her toys that I'd promised to renegotiate, so I kind of got sidetracked....
