I do the crate thing with my Jack, but he never goes pee or poo in it. He always goes outside. I mainly keep him in the crate while we're gone during the day so he can't chew and choke on something..(I have an 8 and 10 yr old.) Therefore there is always something he can get into. Any way, your baby will pick it up in no time. Just be patient.
