OMG! This is horrible, i couldn't imagine seeing my pup in this state for 6 days and have to wait to go to REHAB....What about paralysis, i know you said he can move some, when you touch him, does he show pain, or sense the touching/feeling of something? i would think an x-ray could tell if anything was severed, or broken.....There is no way I'd sit and wait, regardless of what any vet said.
I hope and your pup the best and please keep us updated on him.
