Donna, I just wanted to say thank you for this thread. It really hit home for me because of the heartbreak I had in dealing with a dear friend. It does hurt but sometimes things are beyond our control and understanding so we have to pray for them and move on. Sometimes they come back and sometimes they don't. The love of a true friend is the same as the love for a brother, sister, spouse or parent. No relationship is perfect and people need to be understanding and forgiving. Sometimes people have physical and emotional problems that cause them to say things they don't mean. I pray your 'true friends' will always be there for you. Hugs. |
