I am not much help since our kids came before the yorkies, so we have not had any issues. The only time we had an issue was when they corned one of our yorkies trying to get something away from him. So the kids got a lecture on better ways to get something back from the dog.

I would say start exposing him as much as you can and make sure you talk to the kids about the proper way to behave around Tucker. If they are jumping around and being hyper it will only make Tucker excited and increase the behavior. I am sure with time and consistancy everything will be fine.
