My best friend and I met in High school...we HATED each other , but were forced together for "lunch detention"...we were basically egging each other on to see who would snap and go after the other first ( so much for the private school manners mother wanted to install
) I said something to someone else that she agreed with and we started up a hesitant conversation.....and by the end of the week....we were inseparable ...we hated all the same people
( we were so goofy

We were and still are EXACT opposites in almost every way..but it works somehow...though no one , not even us knows why... We keep each other straight ( most of the time
) and I would never turn my back on her and know she would always stand up for me.
True friendship is rare. I have lots of people I like ....but only two
real friends...her and my husband.
