Just my opinion, but your vet is the VET.. not you.. and your dog obviously has a problem and I personally think it is irresponsible to NOT get him the proper medical attention because YOU don't understand the problem. I would see another vet for a second opinion and ask questions. If the vet does not answer, see another one until you have the answers without second guessing the vet. You dog would NOT be limping if he wasn't in pain and the worst thing you can do is to allow him to jump. Any dog that is limping as much as this one NEEDS medical attention.. not pain pills. pain pills will not fix his problem. I am not trying to be rude, I just think you need to trust your vet or find one you can trust and get that poor baby fixed!
