My first three yorkies were rescues and one that had been bred and was not producing what the breeder wanted... that is how I fell in love with this breed... we had never had a dog.. and I was ignorant to owning one.. but wow they teach you really fast if your willing to learn.. Do a contract and have the rights to take this girl back into your home should you feel this dog is not being cared for the way you would expect.. there are many many people and I was one that would give lots of love in those years but did not want to pay large dollars for a small dog..yet they lived the best life and got vet care as needed.. hence is is not always easy to label a person neither.. you can also find some one that does not connect with the dog.. I was able to take the dogs first.. and if it did not work.. I was able to return without quilt of doing so.. but it worked out fine.. but took a lot of pressure off of me.. for at those ages... it is not easy .... good luck..
