Well, actually, yes you can. If it is registered w/ C(ontinenal)KC. It isn't registered as a purebred, it's just given a certificate indicating that it is the offspring of 2 registered purebred parents. (You cannot in turn breed that dog though and have those offspring registered.) That is one of the reasons so many disapprove of CKC.
