YES, I agree... However with young children it is the grown ups resonsibilty to keep everybody safe. Never leave a little child alone with a defenseless animal. THat is a accident waiting to happen... Adults need to be diligent about this, and in my opinion they can fall short of supervision at all times , therfore accidents will happen more frequently and it is the animal who will suffer in the end. IMO..... coming from 20 yrs. experience of teaching young children and raising a disabled child on my own for 15 yrs .
