Anyway, it sounds like 6-7 months is a good time. Im not the sort to put stuff off like this but it sure is hard thinking about it because i dont like that he has to be put under.
I guess i have almost 2 or 3 months before i have to really worry about it.
I saved my kiddo's teeth, so I can imagine probably saving furkid teeth too LOL |
Not all males mark, but neutering gets rid of the extra testosterone associated with marking. While the testicles make the bulk of it, the body makes some testosterone in both males and females, (some females mark.) Some dogs never mark until they get around other dogs, either a male or female, and this brings out the testosterone, and the need to "mark" their territory.
