WE DID TOO!!! Hey, Cindy, we had blackeyed peas, cabbage [Pat's favorite], candied yams, honey baked ham and cornbread [I make the best ... ask Pat!!] I cook blackeyes with ham & jalapinos in them and I make my cornbread from "scratch" using cornmeal, butter, egg, sour cream, milk, jalapinos and a little minced onion. It's delicious!! [BTW .... we also had some leftover Peanut Butter pie .... yummmy! My recipe is from a restaurant in Birmingham and after "tweeking" it a little, have been using it for years! ]
