Oh Rose! I am just now seeing this! My heart is breaking for you-this had to be one of the toughest decisions you've had to make, but I think in your situation this was the best for Lexie, for your family, and for the other yorkies. I am so sad for you, having to make the decision, but when Lexie is in her new home where she feels better about her new surroundings without the anxiety she felt toward Hallie, I think she will be so much happier. It couldn't have been fun for her to have those feelings at all, and it wasn't good for Hallie either.
I am so glad that you were able to make the best decision for Lexie. I am sending thoughts and prayers to you-I hope your heart heals soon knowing that you made the best decision, and some for Lexie that she finds a wonderful new home where she can be the only doggie and be so happy being spoiled with love, affection and attention.
