My brother used a small air horn. They would grab it and just the site of it would make those dogs stop. Only problem is once you put the horn up they'd start again. Those dogs go nuts, no one, not even them can come in the door and they bark and bark. Roxie always looks at them like what is your problem lol! I'm lucky that Roxie has a very squeaky bark and it sounds like she's horse. So her barking isn't alarming or annoying. Sad thing is that it's due to a bad case of kennal cough when we first got her. It must have scarred her vocals. The vet can't find any reasons for it. Anyway, you could try a whistle or a small air horn.
