All we did was get an empty pop can, put some pebbles or pennies in it and then tape the top up. If Deegan did something that he wasn't supposed to or got too yappy, we'd just give it a light shake and say no in a firm voice. Of course, like always you have to catch him in the act so he knows what he's doing wrong. Works great, but he hates that noise though. Just be careful not to drop it and startle them for no reason... I did that one day accidentally and Deegan flew down the stairs at lightning speed cause he though he was in heck! I felt so bad... poor lil man. Give it a try - good luck.
