Why wouldn't the vet check a stool sample first if he suspected worms. Vets make their living off from selling shots and dewormers. My vet never suggests deworming a healthy puppy.

Why would anyone deworm a dog that does not hve worms. this is not a harmless medication, this is a poison Would you deworm an infant "just to be on the safe side"?

I'm not putting anyone down, just wnat to make people aware that what some look at as a routine worming is ctually very hard on puppies. One breeder tat i talked to said she dewormed 3 times before she sold her puppies.

Why?? If your adult dogs do not have worms, where are the puppies going to get worms?
