This is very good advice. A vet check is a good idea, but if it shows nothing then I would agree. You have pampered her and spoiled her and gone out of your way to accommodate her, therefore she has concluded that you are subordinate to her. Think of her as being a spoiled 2 year old.
You are not behaving as a pack leader by requiring anything from her, so she has come to the conclusion that she is the boss.
Do not respond to her demands, totally ignore her when she misbehaves. No touch, no talk, no eye contact. Start teaching her a few simple commands such as sit and stay, and make her do this before you feed her.
It appears that she was taken from her mother before she was taught proper dog etiquette. She will learn, but it will just take longer and you will have to be very persistent.
