Yeah, I understand about not understanding the whole medical crap. I went to the doctor yesterday to be tested to RA(Rheumatiod arthritis sp?) they said that they didn't think I had it bue gave me some other medical term to explain why my bones hurt. Basically it is because I'm very flexiable and my bones bend slightly more than regular, but I have no idea what they actually called it. So here I am trying to explain this to my mom and my husband and now you in this foolish way.

All I know to say is that maybe if it gets like that again is to try to get in to see the doctor then. If she is a specialist for asthma and you can't get in to see her just try and go to a regular doctor and tell them that you are having chest pains and have recently discovered that you have asthma could that be it? When I had that breathing treatment it was at a regular doctors office, well actually it was at the college's dr. office which is often times worse.

Also you can buy air filters to use with your heating and air unit that are supposed to be better at stoping allergens and such. Also I know my mom always used a plug in air filter thing each time my sister came over in the room she would sleep in. We had cats and it really helped her since she was allergic to them. Febreeze also has an allergen reducer spray that you can spray your carpets and furniture with. I don't really know if any of these will help but maybe.

Well there's got to be more people on here with asthma so keep an eye out hopefully they will post soon and give you some more advice.
