Default New mom to 9 week old Yorkie (long and advice needed!)

Hello, this is my first post and I hope Its in the right spot!

I just bought my Rascal who weighs almost 1 pound this past Sunday. Pet store told me he was 10 weeks old, and healthy and weened. LIES. He is 9 wks old, not weened and I have already had 2 vet visits Monday and tuesday with an initial check up and then an episode with hypoglycemia!! He was dehydrated, and the vet told me to give him Ncal and Pedialyte every hour for 24 hours (this was yesterday at 830am). I did that and he is now much much better! So after all that, I am now trying to get him to eat and he wont eat anything but boiled chicken!!! I make it for my cats and he got a tiny piece and thats how i figured out that he loves it.

So what I am doing, is I am taking boiled chicken and shredding it and mixing it with Pedigree puppy can food and he eats mainly the chicken. I am also still giving him some Pedialite for the dehydration and vomiting (which he only vomited once) and water thru an eyedropper. is that still ok?? How should I be weening my baby? I am feeding him about every 2-3 hours and giving him a tiny bit of NCal about every 4 hours.

Am I doing anything wrong??? Please ANY advice is needed and wanted. I love this little guy and I have 2 poms and when they were pups, the were weened, and Im not sure how to ween a 9 week old pup! I know the store lied to me, but he was sick when I got him and I dont regret getting him, cause I think he wouldnt of made it another day in that stupid careless pet store!!!

How long do you think it will take to ween him and is it ok to be giving him the boiled chicken that often. I know all about pancreatitis b/c my cat is recovering from it(I had to syringe feed her for 3 weeks to get rid of that and her fatty liver disease) She gets boiled chicken everyday as a treat and I have no problem with making it!!!

He sleeps in a crate at night and Im doing all the new puppy things, but I am just unsure about his weening!!!

PLEASE HELP! I dont want to hurt or cause harm to my new sweet little baby!

Thank you!!!
