Seizures are very scary and while they only last seconds or minutes....they seem like an eternity! I totally freaked out when Sasha had her 1st one!
Since she has been on a low protein diet (3weeks now) she has not had any more seizures, though.
As hard as it seems, it's important to remain calm and talk to them in soothing tones. Sasha is very letharic when she comes out of a seizure....she does not become aggressive at all. Her seizures result from amonia buildup due to inability of her liver to utilize protein properly.
Did your vet do a Bile Acids Test? It would reveal possible liver problems.
