I've been working with Maximus on sit and lay. He does pretty well for the most part, unless there is a lot of commotion going on around him. I'm working on head down (where he is in laying position and resting chin on floor). He usually only lays his chin down for a split second, but I'm working on him doing it longer.

Great post. I would love to hear the techniques others use to teach their dogs their tricks like the sit and stay Lauren posted. Or if you can recommend a good book.
