I believe there are a lot of crazy people out there like that. When I worked at the animal hospital, a woman came in with a 7 year old obese cat with a urinary tract infection. The cat hated to take pills (surprise surprise, ever try to pill a cat?
) and just wanted her put down. I told the lady I would take her because I would be able to get her the meds she needed to clear it up. She stated that she loved the cat so much that she could never let her go to another owner. SICK. That is sick. That is how a psychotic over possesive boyfriend or husband thinks before they kill their girlfriend or wife because they couldn't bare to see them with someone else. Its wrong and selfish. Some of them actually convince themselves that their animal couldn't live without them. What a crazy world to live in. To imagine that you are so great that your dog would die without you. Very selfish. Dogs get over it and find love in new homes all the time. They aren't people, and even so, orphans find love in new homes all the time.
