I have heard some people say that they applied for a rescue and were turned down....I often wonder what they wrote on their applications. I am sure that some are simply not a good fit for the pup; but I am also sure many have said things that would stun most people.
This is also the reason most rescues do not give the exact reason for denial....they do not want the people to be able to *edit* their applications.
Those of us who truly love our babies would not even dream of doing what some people do to theirs...the list of horrors is quite long. Sometimes I wish I did not know. |
That's what makes me hate pet stores even more, if that's possible. They don't do any screening, just hand you a puppy after you've paid for it. If this idiot had tried to get a puppy from a rescue or reputable breeder she would have been turned down flat.
