We love The Residence Inn by Marriott, I don't know if there is one in Traverse City, but worth looking for.......... they DO allow dogs and have a "apartment" like atmosphere. Shelby & Seymour love to travel and stay there!! They are always really friendly and also put a magnet on your door that says....... "Pet In Room" to alert the cleaning attendants and in case of emergency.
