And the puppy was crying before the tail docking. I'm sure it does hurt and it would be nice if we could choose weather or not we get our pups tails docked. But as others have mentioned leaving the tail undocked is not breed standard and I highly doubt there is any more trauma than that of a new born baby getting curcumcised.
