No, she wasn't upset at all. Very matter of fact. She said several times that it "wasn't their time", but that they wouldn't have liked having to be walked on a leash.
I can't imagine why she would tell me this after I told her that Lady is diabetic and that I have been giving her insulin shots for going on eight years. Did she honestly think I would understand?
It breaks my heart to think about it. They were a brother and sister and had been together for twelve years until this woman had them killed.
