She is IRRESPONSIBLE! She dumped these dogs onto a rescue because she didn't want to pay to have them spayed which any RESPONSIBLE breeder would have done. When she had them vetted 2 died because they had never had a rabies shot before according to your previous posts. You are acting like Maxine has done nothing wrong but in fact she is the root of this entire thread! She lied to you and NCYR about closing her breeding program, kept a few dogs and then she sold not 1 but 2 --2 1/2 to 3 lbs females to a breeder who is now mixing breeds for profit. Now one of her offspring has been sold one to a puppy mill or broker both are pretty much the same! How is any of this show she is even the slightest bit responsible? I don't understand why you are defending her actions?
The only ones that made it out were the ones turned over to the rescue, were spayed and neutered
at the rescues expense and then rehomed. She didn't take the time to properly rehome her dogs, vet them or properly care for them. Reese1 talked about her Camden and what horrible condition she was in.
I don't feel sorry for her NOT ONE BIT! She is no better than the one mixing and selling mixed breed dogs that this thread was started about. NOW one of her dogs is a female breeder in a MILL! This is just SICK and totally disgusting. Actually she is the cause of this entire thread. Total irresponsible breeding from all angles. I don't care how many show dogs she has produced, awards she has received it all means nothing if you are not responsible for your actions with
ALL OF YOUR DOGS!
If North Carolina Yorkie Rescue heard about this they could shake their heads in disgust as well. When all is said and done, that little girl in the mill will either be dead or in a rescue. Maybe she will end up with me and have a good and loving home.
She is part of the reason that there is a need for rescues in this country and you are defending her as an innocent piece to this puzzle. She is the reason for this puzzle. How could she have allowed a 2 1/2 lb female be sold to breed to begin with~and she did when she allowed her to leave unaltered. You cannot say she didn't know, she should have had her spayed prior to letting her go. How is that betterment of the Yorkie breed?
There is no excuse for her irresponsible actions. Who knows what happened to the other females that she let go unaltered and not to a rescue. She lives right over the boarder of PA the Amish Puppymill capital of America. I brought my little rescue from OH home to IL. I've spoken to the rescue that deals with the amish mills it is not pretty. It's a horrible life these dogs live. It's so sad.
