I guess if you ask more $$, you can always go down in the price if you don't get any calls. I just sold a male that will be about 8 lbs for $300, and another one for $375 that was going to be about 5-6 lbs. They were registered and sold on neuter contracts and the parents were 7lbs and 4 lbs correct coats, topline, bites etc. They were the first to go because of the lowered price. The other 2 males went for $475 and $575 ( aprox 5 lb adults). Only you know I guess ,what puppies are selling for in your area. It's sad because we have some very large breeders ( I would say mills ) within in 2 hrs from me, and they sell for $250 -$350 . Most people are looking for deals and want cheap ( due to job loss and the economy)and will buy from the mills because either they don't understand how that parents are kept and pups raised , or they don't care and want a dog thats priced for their budget ,period.... I have a VERY nice female right now for $850( 4 1/2 - 5lbs adult), and when people they say OH, thats way to high. 2 yrs ago she would have be snatched up in a heartbeat at $1,200.
