Buying a back yard breeder puppy is a crap shoot!! The puppy can look healthy now, but alot of Yorkie health problems can show up later, especially with the kind of puppy you are getting. The breeder probably is not knowlegable about Liver Shunts, Leggs Perthes, Luxating Patellas and much more health problems that poorly bred Yorkies can have. And, yes these can happen to well bred Yorkies, but not in the frequency of breeders that just happen to accidentally breed two dogs. Does this "breeder" have a health guarantee? For 800, you should demand one. A reputable breeder will have one. These type of health problems can run into the thousand of dollars.
