while it is not best to get any dogs at six weeks old(due to socialization issues) larger breeds usually are ok HOWEVER due to yorkies size it is not at all ok to get at six weks. 12 is ideal, 10 if they are eating ok and are reasonably sized...if you look at some recent threads,you will see hypoglycemia is a huge prob with the breed. Please do not take this baby so young,it is just not safe for them and will cause you much heartache!
