What other breed of dogs did you get at 6 weeks? I got my Myah at 11 1/2 weeks and did have hypoglicemia problems with her. 6 weeks in a Yorkie is too young to leave mom.
As far as the coloring, Some yorkies are darker in color. That doesn't mean they aren't yorkies. some are darker, some are lighter. Maybe you could go visit again and get some pictures of the pup and the parents? Then if you post them we can look at them and give you a better idea. Since this person isn't really a "breeder" I hope you aren't paying alot for the pup. I know you'll love the puppy either way.
