I agree. Toy breed dogs can dehydrate very quickly and it becomes life threatening. My Lady is a 7.5 pound adult and she ended up in the ER after just 24 hours of diarrhea. I actually stopped it with Immodium, but twelve hours later she was still very lethargic. I took her to the ER vet and they said I was lucky she hadn't gone into cardiac arrest.

I personally would not take a chance with a puppy that young.
