I am also glad to hear you are doing well. Having grown up on a farm with many animals, creatures of all sizes do just fine with one eye. I have a little min pin that got away from me when she was just ten months old and was hit by a car. She suffered nerve damage in her hip which caused the tip of one of her back legs to bend under and back wards, so she walks on the top of her foot instead of the padded bottom (like the top of your hand, if you were to try to bend it backwards to touch your elbow). It really bothered me at first because it really looks kind of bad especially if you are not used to it. She is now getting to be old and she has done just fine all her life with not even any pain meds for maintenance. She is definately a topic of discussion when ever someone new sees her, and sometimes I don't care for the reaction..."eeewwww" but she has a wonderful personality and still runs and jumps and plays on that foot even the way it is. Vets are surprised she has done so well with it, and has not required an amputation yet. I call her my gold nugget because of all the money she has cost me, LOL. Hugs to your baby!
