Hello everyone

I just wanted to thank all of you for your prayers and for your great suggestions. I was keeping up with all of them on my Blackberry while I was cuddling with my little angel. She is doing wonderful! She has been eating and drinking and she has been walking well. The only thing is that she wants to lick her little boo boo. But thanks to your ideas we have figured out how to prevent that.
Thanks everyone!

That was a REALLY good idea! Bella has been trying to lick at her stiches a little...only when her medicine is wearing off. My mom made her a onesie today and she will be wearing it tonight. Thank you so much for the suggestion.

I definitely understand being nervous. But I am praying for little Sophie and I am sure she will be fine

I remember Lily wanting to scratch it when she was healing....but she couldn't get to it with the cone over her head! I gave her an antibiotic 2 times a day when she came home from the vet. The first day she was more tired....we gave her lots of love, she didn't eat as much. The next day I added some warm water to her dry dog food and let is soften and she loved it! I hope that Bella is feeling ok this evening....give her some extra love ! |
Bella absolutely HATES her cone!

I'm amazed that little Lily was able to tolerate hers for that long. She's such a little trooper.
And I used your suggestion about adding warm water too her food and she has been eating VERY well. She's such a little piggy
