Wished i lived in SoCal right now. I read the 30 minutes a day rule from a puppy training book. but every breed is different. according to puppies for dummies, all dogs should get at min. 30 total minutes outside. i can tell you that Oscar and I don't walk in the rain. that's why i am glad he is somewhat pee pad trained. that's another post about the pee pads too. while it's convenient, it doesn't teach your dog to do his business outside....he still has accidents and i'm sure it's because of the pee pads!!
