Sparkles had the same problem we thought it was from the new puppy's sharp teeth when they were playing. After a while when it didn't go away we took her to the vet and he rubbed it right off and gave us some drops to put on the ears. I checked the bottle and it says Tresaderm Solution. I put this on a couple times after we went to the vet and it hasn't come back. But I never scraped them again after when the vet did. Hope this helps.
