I do not blame good breeders at all for being so selective about where they place their pups and having a strict contract. I don't even show yet and I have yet to place a puppy with breeding rights for that very reason, it's hard to trust people because you just never know what they might do for the money.  |
Actually the co-owner of the stud does not have to sign the litter registration papers or certificate of stud service. So they might not have known about this at all. I have a verbal only agreement with Kathy that I will not stud out these beautiful boys and will not sell any puppies produced on full AKC registration. I will never betray Kathy's trust on this. Thats just not me. To me a contract is a contract, verbal or written.
