I agree with the thought the pup will be more than 8 lbs....

Other than that she is adorable. Maybe you could take her to a vet before you buy her to make sure there are no health problems lurking.

A puppie or older yorkie from a rescue group would be behavioral evaluated and already spayed and vaccinated. The price for those are about $250 to $600. AKC or other papers are not a guarantee that the dog is healthy or well behaved and since I assume your mother does not like to breed her papers are not necessary.
