She's adorable, but looks a lot larger than 8 lbs. Truthfully, she looks like she about the size of my Smokey and he's 14 lbs. Also, if your mom wants a standard looking yorkie - this pups ears are floppy... most yorkies get their ears up when they are a lot younger than 6 months. Personally I love big teapot, floppy eared babies, but it doesn't sound like what your mom wants. Have you looked on petfinder to see if there is a rescue?
