As Crystal already mentioned...ammonium urate stones do NOT show up on an x-ray and only show up on ultrasounds, so don't rule out stones.
If your baby eats kibble, add equal parts water to the kibble at each meal. If your baby eats 1/4 cup of kibble at each meal, add *at least* 1/4 cup of water to that meal. Do not let it sit out unrefrigerated too long because it will spoil.
If you don't want to do this, then canned food is very high in moisture and will definitely help your baby take in the much needed moisture.
You could also give seedless watermelon for a treat since it's pretty high in moisture.
Make sure the vet is checking for crystals too. Please post the results of the urinalysis and what kind of crystals they find if they do find any.
